The title is a life motto for me, even if I kick and scream to believe it sometimes.
If you would have told me at age 10-19 that I would be a public relations major, president of Lambda Pi Eta (I mean really, I would have probably laughed at the name) and be where I am today I would have politely told you NO. I am going to go to York College of Pennsylvania and have a double major in Elementary Education and Special Education and work as a preschool special education teacher.
My plans quickly changed…
After taking the math portion of the Praxis four times and failing, I knew it was time for me to choose another major. Yes there was lots of crying and wondering, “why me? I had a perfect plan in place!”
I researched many different majors and picked public relations because I enjoy communicating with people and writing. I had no idea what to expect. Luckily, “everything happens for a reason” and I love it! Not only the major, but my classmates and adviser, Mrs. Carroll.
So, I will never doubt my life motto again… or try not to.
